Farmlink program- connect farmers

Florida Farmlink, a project of Florida West Coast Resource Conservation & Development, connects those who want to get into farming to land, expertise, apprenticeships, mentors, markets, peer networks, and other resources and services related to starting or expanding a farming operation. Services can include a virtual one-stop resource center, one-on-one technical assistance, educational seminars and training workshops, and websites for farmers to share information. Some Farmlink programs provide information about where and how to obtain land, equipment, and supplies, training in production methods, and help in developing a marketing strategy and business plan. The goal is to stimulate connections among landowners, beginner farmers, consultants in farming, and other businesses that support a local food system and help expand existing farm businesses and create new ones.
